Wouldn’t that be “regular, *spicy, or butter”?…you know, since they’re called *fireflies

“What, no Flamin’ Hot? Man, that store never has my favorite in stock!”

I’m many places they’re called lightning bugs.

Lightning breaks the rest of the joke. Butterbugs?

So when me and my brother were kids, we fed his pet bearded dragon some lightning bugs to see his mouth all lit up as he ate them. It did look super cool.

However, the next day his lizard was dead and there was a hole through the side of his stomach.

Turns out lightning bugs are super “fuck you up” bad and you shouldn’t feed them to anything.

But would a frog even call his significant other “Honey”? Since they don’t eat honey? Shouldn’t it be “My larva” or something?

“Baby”, “Honey” and “Ragtime Gal” are all acceptable.
