Here's Graham Platner addressing the tattoo issue

Honestly I know Lemmy probably won’t like this at all because he starts off right away by talking about being in the US military.

For me, when I look at this dude, more than that I am concerned that he might not be skilled enough in Washington and political detail things to see through bullshit and understand complex important issues. To me he clearly means well, which puts him easily well and above above the usual six figure psychopath which is the alternative for this Senate seat, but that’s not enough to say he will be successful. But I would rather this guy than any other fucking thing I see coming into the US Senate from Maine.

Mostly the reason I want to post this is that I 1,000% agree with him about one thing: The reason the media is all of a sudden in freakout mode about his tattoo is because they don’t want him anywhere near power, and they’re doing what they do, which is throwing random made-up shit to try to trick people into various reasons not to vote for him. That is absolutely a reason in my book to think that he might be the real deal.

I don’t remember any of this made up freakout cycle ever getting deployed against Fetterman for example. All I remember hearing before he got elected was good things about what a rising young star he was. But this guy, all I hear about is problems and how the DNC thinks he is an emergency. Maybe it happened this way for Fetterman too, and I missed it, but I can’t think of any kind of “tan suit” manufactured scandal about him.
